Papercasting or blogging on paper

You heard podcasting now comes the turn of papercasting. Some genius in blogsphere not very concerned about the depletion of our forests decided that he would invent a new form of blogging.

Here are the steps for papercasting or plogcasting as it is called:

  1. Take a piece of paper and pencil

  2. Write down what you want to blog on the piece of paper whilst holding your pencil with one hand

  3. write in a neat way ...unless you are a doctor and your audience consists mainly of pharmacians

  4. scan the end result of your work

  5. put it as image on your blog

  6. thats it ..ure officially undergoing regression..slap yourself hard

I personnally find it utterly stupid heres the link :

It's a JOKE :-P. I set it up as a satire of Podcasting and audio blogs.

There is more to the use of paper worth considering, for example, the optimal trade-offs between immutability and mobility, about which I've also written here.

This is all fine immutability and mobility i think its a great idea but did you ever consider what was the purpose of a blog in the first place? Writing your views , reviews and SHARE it to as many people as possible , how on earth are you going to get your paper blog contents indexed by search engine, you are restricting yourself to tags for indexing right now.

Following your explanation on immuability i would have just as well written something on a piece of rock , taken its picture and posted in on my rockcasting blog!!! :P

This is to explain that what is important is the content of your blog and that you are able to disperse your message to the rest of the world.
